General Description

Sewerage Catchment:

• Kianga (Narooma) outfall is the discharge point for the Narooma STP, which services the township of Narooma.

Sewage Treatment:  

• Narooma STP is an activated sludge plant with tertiary ponds.

Outfall:

• The ocean outfall is located on a rocky point north of Kianga Point and immediately south of the entrance to Kianga Lake. Pipe diameter at the outlet is 0.2m and the outlet is located 1.25m below the surface and 2.1m off the bottom.
